Included in the following primary source set are a variety of materials pertaining to immigration from periods of time before, during and after WWI. Immigrants in the United States during this time were encouraged to offer their support in a variety of contexts. The first worldwide war (called the Great War at the time) roiled emotions for immigrants from countries all over the globe. The set offers recommendations for use and includes links to online exhibitions offered by the Library of Congress. Primary source selections include sheet music, posters, and newspaper articles. View more details, and download or access the primary source set online. Emerging America brings this primary source set to you thanks to the outstanding primary sources and materials provided free by the Library of Congress.
